As members of Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce we would like to benefit local businesses and thus decided to share the wonderful concerts, which reflect unique spirit of Santa Monica. Lots of people are coming year after year at the Santa Monica Pier for these open air concerts. Enjoy!
July 2 marks the opening night of the Twilight Dance series, a program of free concerts featuring “eclectic and exciting world music.” said Ben Franz-Knight, the Executive Director of the Santa Monica Pier. “Santa Monica celebrates three anniversaries this summer: The 25th Anniversary of the Twilight Dance Series, The 100 Year Anniversary of the Santa Monica Pier, and the 85th Anniversary of The La Monica Ballroom,” said Franz-Knight. To commemorate these anniversaries, The Pier will have a dance floor, many musicians from a variety of different genres, and for the first time, a wine bar available for patrons.
